Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have — in plain English first, then the full policy.

Effective / last updated: October 20, 2026 · Entity: Pro Sewer Repair LLC (doing business as Pro Sewer Repair), a Washington limited liability company · 9824 Lake City Way NE, Lower, Seattle, WA 98115 · (425) 478-3133 · [email protected]

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This Privacy Policy is issued by Pro Sewer Repair LLC, doing business as Pro Sewer Repair (“Pro Sewer Repair,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Washington, with its principal place of business at 9824 Lake City Way NE, Lower, Seattle, WA 98115. Washington contractor registration no. PROSESR814OC.

It describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you (a) visit or use our website at prosewerrepair.com and any page, form, or subdomain we operate that links to this policy (together, the “Site”); (b) call, text, or email us; (c) request an estimate or hire us for sewer, drain, trenchless, water-line, or related services (the “Services”); or (d) apply for a job with us.

We provide the Services in the State of Washington. This policy is written for United States residents. If you use the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and your information will be processed in the United States.

Our Site and Services are provided to adults and to businesses (including property managers, landlords, and real-estate professionals). By using the Site or the Services you acknowledge this policy. Our Terms & Conditions also apply.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you interact with us:

  • Identifiers and contact details — name, postal or service address, email address, telephone number(s), and, for job applicants, the information in your application and résumé.
  • Service and property details — the service you are asking about (for example “Sewer Repair” or “24/7 Emergency”), your description of the problem, property type and access details, photos or videos you send us, sewer-scope footage and inspection reports we create, permit and job records, estimates, invoices, and warranty records.
  • Communications — the content of your form submissions, emails, text messages, and phone calls with us, including call recordings and any notes our team makes about your request.
  • Commercial information — the Services you requested or purchased, pricing, payment status, and financing-application status (but not the financial details you give a lender — see Financing and payments).
  • Internet and device activity — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, approximate (city-level) location inferred from IP address, and similar data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Reviews and testimonials — the name and content you choose to publish on Google, Yelp, Facebook, or other review platforms, which we may quote on the Site.
  • Consent records — the date, time, and source of any consent you give us (for example, your check-box consent to be contacted or texted), together with the version of the consent language shown to you at the time.

We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, full payment-card numbers through our web forms or by text, or information about your health. Where we take payment, we do it through a payment processor that is responsible for securing card data (see Section 18).

3. Where the information comes from

  • Directly from you when you fill in a form, call, text, email, book service, sign an estimate or agreement, apply for a job, or leave a review.
  • Automatically from your device when you browse the Site (see Cookies).
  • From our service providers, such as our field-service software, call-center platform, website host, and form-delivery service, which process information on our behalf.
  • From third parties such as a property manager, landlord, real-estate agent, home-warranty company, or insurer who requests service at a property on your behalf; our financing partner (limited to application status); and public sources such as county property and permit records that we use to plan and permit sewer work.
  • From advertising and referral platforms (for example Google Ads, Google Local Services Ads, Yelp, and Facebook), which may tell us which ad or listing brought you to us.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your inquiry, provide a free estimate or second opinion, and schedule, dispatch, perform, and document the Services;
  • send service communications by phone, email, or text — appointment confirmations and reminders, technician en-route notices, estimates, permit and inspection updates, invoices and receipts, warranty information, and job-completion follow-ups;
  • process payments, manage accounts, and coordinate financing applications with our financing partner at your request;
  • obtain permits and inspections from Seattle Public Utilities and other Washington jurisdictions, which requires sharing the property address and owner or agent details;
  • request a review after service and display reviews you have made public;
  • send marketing about our Services where you have opted in or where permitted by law, and measure whether our advertising works;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site and our Services, including detecting spam and abuse (our forms use Google reCAPTCHA);
  • evaluate job applications;
  • comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, defend legal claims, and protect the rights, safety, and property of our customers, employees, and business; and
  • for any other purpose we describe when we collect the information or with your consent.

5. How and with whom we share information

We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients, in each case only as needed for the purposes above:

  • Field-service, CRM, and communications platform. We run our business on ServiceTitan, including its Contact Center Pro call handling and its scheduling, dispatch, customer-record, invoicing, review-request, and text-messaging features. Information you give us is stored there.
  • Website, hosting, and form-delivery providers. Our Site is designed, built, and hosted for us by our web agency, CI Web Group, and its infrastructure providers (including Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare). Form submissions travel through CI Web Group’s lead-delivery service to reach us. Google provides the reCAPTCHA anti-spam service and the web fonts the Site loads.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, as described in Section 10.
  • Financing partner. If you choose to apply for financing, you deal directly with Service Finance Company, LLC (“Service Finance”) under its own privacy policy; we receive only what we need to know whether the job is financed and for how much.
  • Payment processors that handle card, ACH, or check payments on our behalf.
  • Permitting authorities and utilities, including Seattle Public Utilities and the city or county that issues the permit for your job, plus utility-locate services.
  • Subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment or lining-material providers engaged on your job, limited to the job details they need.
  • Property managers, owners, agents, or insurers who requested service on your behalf or are responsible for the property.
  • Professional advisers such as our accountants, insurers, and attorneys.
  • Law enforcement, courts, and regulators when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, investigate fraud, or protect our rights.
  • A successor business if we sell, merge, or reorganize the company, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

Our service providers are contractually limited to using personal information to provide their services to us. We do not permit any of them to use your mobile phone number or text-messaging consent for their own marketing.

6. Do we sell or share personal information?

We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months, as “sell” is defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”) and in the comparable laws of other states.

Sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. If advertising cookies or pixels described in Section 10 are active on the Site, the resulting disclosure of internet-activity data to advertising platforms (for example Google Ads or Meta) may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws. We do this only for our own advertising, never for compensation, and you can opt out at any time through Your privacy choices, by turning off advertising cookies in our cookie settings, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law, and we do not use personal information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

7. Text messaging (SMS) program and consent

Pro Sewer Repair offers a text-messaging program so we can confirm appointments, tell you when a technician is on the way, send estimates, permit and inspection updates, invoices and receipts, warranty details, job-completion surveys and review requests, and reply to questions you text us (the “SMS Program”). Messages come from our main business number, (425) 478-3133, or a number we tell you belongs to us.

How you opt in

You opt in by (a) checking the consent box on a form on this Site and submitting your mobile number; (b) texting us first; or (c) giving us your mobile number and verbal permission in person or on a call you place to us. We record the date, time, source, and wording of your consent. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

The consent language on our website forms reads:

“By checking this box and submitting my number I agree to receive calls and text messages from Pro Sewer Repair at the number provided about my request, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. I have read the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.”

Program terms

  • Message frequency varies and depends on your job. You may receive several messages around a scheduled appointment.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details of your plan.
  • To stop: reply STOP to any message. We will send one final message confirming that you have opted out. You may also opt out by calling (425) 478-3133 or emailing [email protected]. Opting out of texts does not stop calls or emails you have separately agreed to; you can opt out of those at the same address.
  • To get help: reply HELP to any message, call (425) 478-3133, or email [email protected].
  • Supported carriers: the program is available on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • No third-party marketing. Your mobile phone number and your SMS consent will not be shared with, sold to, or used by third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data is used only to deliver the SMS Program described here.
  • Privacy. Text message content is stored in our field-service platform, ServiceTitan, with the rest of your customer record and is handled under this policy.

Our SMS Program is registered, or is in the process of being registered, with U.S. carriers under the A2P 10DLC framework, and we send messages in accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles, and Washington law. Full program terms are also in our Terms & Conditions.

8. Phone calls and call recording

Calls to and from (425) 478-3133 are handled through our call-center platform and may be recorded and transcribed for quality assurance, training, dispatch accuracy, and record-keeping. Washington is an all-party-consent state (RCW 9.73.030): where a call is recorded you will hear a notice at the start of the call, and by continuing the call you consent to the recording. If you do not wish to be recorded, tell us and we will continue the conversation by email or text instead. Recordings are retained as described in Section 15.

The phone number shown on the Site or in our advertising may be a call-tracking number provided by ServiceTitan Marketing Pro. Every tracking number forwards to our main line, (425) 478-3133, so we can measure which pages and ads bring in calls. ServiceTitan receives your phone number, the number you dialed, and the call time and duration.

9. Cookies, similar technologies, and Global Privacy Control

Cookies are small text files placed on your device; similar technologies include local storage, pixels (tiny images or scripts that record a page view or event), and software development kits. The Site uses the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to work and cannot be switched off in our cookie settings. On this Site these include the token Google reCAPTCHA uses to tell people from bots when you submit a form, the setting that remembers whether you chose “Reduce motion” in the footer (stored in your browser only), and the record of your cookie choices.
  • Analytics / performance. Help us understand which pages are used, where visitors come from, and where the Site can be improved. See Section 10.
  • Advertising. Used to measure ad conversions and, where enabled, to show you our ads on other websites and apps. See Section 10.

Your cookie choices

Where the Site displays a cookie banner, non-essential cookies are not set until you choose “Accept,” and you can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the Site (including the contact form) may not work.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser, and advertising cookies are not set. Because there is no common standard for “Do Not Track,” the Site does not respond to DNT signals other than GPC. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

10. Analytics and advertising tools; opt-outs

We use, or may use, the third-party tools below. Each provider collects internet-activity data (such as IP address, device identifiers, pages viewed, and events like a form submission) under its own privacy policy. Each is loaded only in accordance with your cookie choices and any GPC signal.

Industry-wide opt-outs: Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative. Opting out of interest-based advertising does not mean you will see fewer ads, only that they will not be based on your browsing.

11. Your privacy rights (Washington, California, and other states)

We provide our Services in Washington, which does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute but does have the My Health My Data Act, the Washington Consumer Protection Act, and data-breach notification law (RCW 19.255). Whether or not a particular state law technically applies to us, we extend the following rights to every individual whose personal information we hold, and we honor the specific rights granted to residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Kentucky, Nebraska, Maryland, Minnesota, Rhode Island, and any other state that enacts such rights:

  • Right to know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of recipients, and to receive a copy in a portable format.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to delete personal information, subject to exceptions (for example, we may keep records needed to complete a job you requested, honor a warranty, comply with law, or defend claims).
  • Right to opt out of the sale of personal information, the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, and profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects (we do not do such profiling).
  • Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it for purposes that would trigger this right).
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
  • Right to appeal — if we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond within 45 days (60 days in some states) and, if we still decline, tell you how to contact your state attorney general.

California notice at collection. The categories of personal information we collect and the purposes are listed in Sections 2 and 4; the categories of third parties are in Section 5; retention periods are in Section 15. We do not sell personal information. We may “share” internet-activity information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in Section 6, and you may opt out below. California residents may also request the “Shine the Light” disclosure under Civil Code §1798.83; we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.

12. Your privacy choices and how to exercise them

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information / Opt out of targeted advertising. You can opt out in any of these ways:

  • send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser — we honor it automatically;
  • turn off “Advertising” cookies in the Site’s cookie settings (where the banner is shown); or
  • email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy request,” or call (425) 478-3133.

Access, correction, deletion, portability, appeal. Email [email protected] (subject “Privacy request”), call (425) 478-3133, or write to Pro Sewer Repair LLC, Attn: Privacy, 9824 Lake City Way NE, Lower, Seattle, WA 98115. Tell us which right you are exercising and the name, phone number, and email or service address on your account so we can find your records.

Verification. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide with what we hold and, where the request is sensitive (for example, deletion of a full customer record), by confirming through the phone number or email on file. We will not ask for more information than we need. You may designate an authorized agent by giving the agent signed written permission or a power of attorney; we may still ask you to confirm the agent’s authority directly.

Timing and cost. We will acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days with notice. Responses are free unless requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we may charge a reasonable fee or decline and explain why.

Marketing communications. Unsubscribe links appear in every marketing email; reply STOP to any text; or ask us at the contact details above. We may still send transactional messages about your job (for example, an inspection appointment) after you opt out of marketing.

Review requests. If you do not wish to receive a review request after service, tell your technician or the office and we will note your file.

13. Washington My Health My Data Act notice

The Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373) regulates “consumer health data.” We do not seek to collect consumer health data, and our Site and Services are not designed to gather it. In the course of a sewer job you might voluntarily tell us something that touches on health — for example, that a household member is immunocompromised so you need a sewage backup handled urgently, or that someone at the property has a disability that affects access. If you do, we use that information only to accommodate you and perform the Services safely, we share it only with the crew who need to know, we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we delete it when it is no longer needed for the job or as required by law. You may ask us to access, delete, or withdraw consent for any such information, and appeal our decision, using the methods in Section 12. We do not use geofencing around any facility that provides health-care services.

14. Children’s privacy

The Site and Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). You must be an adult to request service or apply for a job. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

15. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, then delete or de-identify it. Our standard periods are:

  • Customer, job, permit, warranty, invoice, and payment records: the life of any warranty on the work plus the longer of 7 years or the applicable Washington limitations period (RCW 4.16), because these records establish what was installed, permitted, and warranted at your property.
  • Inquiries and estimates that do not become jobs: 24 months from last contact.
  • Call recordings: 12 months, unless needed longer for a dispute or legal hold.
  • Text-message content and consent records: the life of the customer record; opt-out records are kept indefinitely so we do not text you again.
  • Job applications: 12 months after the position closes, or longer if you are hired.
  • Website analytics: per the provider’s retention (Google Analytics 4 event data is set to 14 months).
  • Cookie-consent records: 12 months, after which the banner asks again.

16. How we protect information

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to its sensitivity: the Site is served over HTTPS; form submissions are encrypted in transit; customer records live in our field-service platform behind role-based access controls; we do not store full payment-card numbers on our own systems; and access is limited to people who need it to do their jobs. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach of security affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the Washington Attorney General as required by RCW 19.255.010 and other applicable law. Please help us by keeping any account or portal credentials confidential and by not sending payment-card numbers or sensitive personal information through web forms or text.

The Site embeds a Google Maps map of our office in the footer of every page (Google may set cookies and receive your IP address and approximate location when the map loads — see Google’s privacy policy) and links to third-party websites and services we do not control, including Google Business Profile, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, the Service Finance application portal, Seattle Public Utilities and other government sites, and manufacturer sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them. Reviews you post on third-party platforms are public and controlled by that platform.

18. Financing and payments

Financing. We are not a lender. Consumer financing for our Services is offered by Service Finance Company, LLC, an independent third-party lender, subject to its credit approval, terms, and privacy policy. When you follow a financing link from our Site or apply through a technician’s device, your application — including any Social Security number, income, or bank information — goes directly to Service Finance. We do not receive or store that financial information; we receive only the approval status and financed amount needed to complete your job.

Payments. We do not collect payment-card information through the Site. Payments made in person, over the phone, or through a payment link are processed by our payment processor, which is responsible for maintaining PCI DSS compliance for card data. We keep the transaction record (amount, date, last four digits, and status) but not full card numbers.

19. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices, tools, or the law change. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version. For material changes — for example, a new category of data or a new purpose — we will post a notice on the Site for at least 30 days and, where we have your email and the change affects you, email you. Your continued use of the Site or Services after the effective date means the updated policy applies.

20. How to contact us

Privacy questions, requests, complaints, and accessibility-related privacy concerns:

  • Email: [email protected] (subject line “Privacy request”)
  • Phone: (425) 478-3133 — answered 24 hours a day
  • Mail: Pro Sewer Repair LLC, Attn: Privacy, 9824 Lake City Way NE, Lower, Seattle, WA 98115

If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Washington State Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division or the attorney general of your state.

This policy was prepared for Pro Sewer Repair LLC. It is not legal advice to visitors, and we recommend that the company’s own counsel periodically review it for changes in Washington and federal law.
